A 7:34 minute long video, where you will be watching some of Buakaw’s intensive training. Although no subtitles may be seen on this video, the important part of it is how intensive Buakaw’s training has been throughout the years. His hard work has truly paid off, becoming a world known fighter, on min 2:30 you may appreciate a compilation of fighting videos of Buakaw, in which he KO his opponent. Buakaw has truly mastered Muay Thai though hard training and proper learning of the fighting techniques; he begins his daily training with a 10km run at 6am, followed by 500 knee hits to a sandbag and a 30 minute ring practice fight. As the day moves forth, he runs an extra 8km at 3pm, and again 500 knee hits to the sandbag along with 20 to 30 minute continuous kicking and some more 30 minute kicking to a sandbag. After kicking for an hour, he practices grabbing for 40 minutes. He ends his training with some rope climbing and after he sets he mind into a peaceful mode so as to relax for the next day o begin.

True mastery of Muay Thai comes with extremely hard work.

Buakaw cutting down banana tree

In this amazing video, you are watching a Muay Thai legend of Thailand, Buakaw, cutting down a banana tree with some kicks and punches. It is probably amusing watching Buakaw cut down a tree with his bare feet, but he is not just a “crazy guys” as the video’s title indicates; Buakaw is a two time (2004 and 2006) K-1 World Max Champion, he has been training for over 22 years and has mastered Muay Thai to a level only few may reach. Watching Buakaw cut down that tree may seem easy, but it is actually his bone density the key factor to this amazing fact. Over the 22 years, Buakaw has been training and fighting with his fists, elbows, knees and feet. He has gathered a bone density (from all the training and fighting), which enables him to cut down that banana tree with just a few hits. This is not just another YouTube illusion, it is actually a real man (who has mastered Muay Thai) kicking down a banana tree.

It’s a fun 40 second video to watch, especially if you are into Muay Thai and want to impress your friends with some cool Muay Thai videos.

Buakaw Banchamek VS Enriko kehl

An all-time ultimate Muay Thai fighter Buakaw is fighting the German Enriko. At the start of the 1st Round, Baukaw seems to have lost his balance and falls at min 0:53, but quickly gets back on his two feet and ready to show the audience his Muay Thai skills. Buakaw is able to place several knee hits onto his opponent with several other grab & toss techniques in the 1st round, making Enriko fall in 5 different times. On the 2nd Round, Buakaw does an impressive toss of Enriko after minute 5:58. Another impressive moment is right after min 9:45 (3rd Round), where Buakaw starts off with an amazing knee kick to his opponents face. Clearly this match must be given to Buakaw, he dominated the entire match and dropped Enriko many time. Although, everyone who watches this match, must believe Buakaw should have won, it was determined, by the K-1 judges, to be a draw and that the match should go to a 4th Round (Sudden Death); Buakaw decided not to go to SD on this fight because he said that the match had its results locked. Hopefully in future matches this problem will not be presented again, Buakaw was the best fighter, no questions asked.

Buakaw Banchamek (RED) VS Abdoul Toure (BLUE)

We all must know Buakaw, one of the greatest Muay Thai fighters out there today; in this video he is facing Abdoul, a French Muay Thai fighter. Amazingly, in the 1st Round, Abdoul was able to throw Buakaw onto the floor on min 1:00, something we don’t see every day with an all time champion like Buakaw. Quickly on min 1:32 Baukaw finds a kicking spot on Abdoul, but the most impressive one is dealt on min 2:50. As quick as the 2nd Round begins, Buakaw is able to knock Abdoul down on min 5:15, which eventually leads to min 6:15, where Buakaw knocks his opponent down once again, clearly by now we might all know how this match will end, but some great punches are still delivered on the 3rd Round (min 9:19). 9:27 is where we’ll see the last blow, which KO’s Abdoul, leading to Buakaw’s victory. It is clear that Buakaw was a superior fighter on this match, but yet Abdoul was able to fight back, providing spectators with an amazing fight. It might seem that as the match started, Buakaw underestimated his opponent, but rapidly he reinstated his dominance over the fight; so we’ve learned to never elbow Baukaw, unless we want 3 KO on our fight.

As the match starts, we can see that Plaikeaw (RED) begins dominating the match until min 1:20, where Superjack (BLUE) clearly spices up the fight a bit by taking Plaikeaw to a corner. Much more can’t be said about the 1st Round, but as soon as the 2 Round starts (2:36), both fighters gave it their best. As you see the fight continue though the 2 Round, especially on min 2:58, we may appreciate Plaikaew’s fighting skills, but soon after SuperJack corners him again with some well-placed kicks. It is important to take into account SuperJack’s fighting strategy, he managed to nail Plaikaew (in min 3:26) onto the edge and pressured him; soon after, Plaikaew was able to free himself form Superjack’s strategy with some high kicks. In minute 3:50, Plaikaew pressed on Superjack; Superjack tries to answer back with a blow kick, but Plaikaew dodges it successfully. As the match continues, Superjack shows how he dominates the match, minute 4:00 is a clear example, a right punch falls on Plaikaew’s face. Few seconds later (min 4:20), the match goes for Superjack after he threw a dead blow at Plaikaew’s neck. It’s a very nice match to watch, mainly for lightweight Muay Thai lovers.

Teerawat Yioyim (Buakaw’s trainer) interview

If you have seen the interview to Buakaw, then you’ll have to watch this next video, where Buakaw’s trainer, Teerawat Yioyim, is interviewed. Since Buakaw is a great fighter he has his own personal trainer, Teerawat Yioyim, who has full responsibility of Buakaw’s aerobic training, weight training, food diet and he also has to take care of any injuries Buakaw may have, including recoveries and massages; basically Teerawat Yioyim has to take care of everything Buakaw has to do and does not have to do.

Teerawat’s training program is separated onto two parts, the first one is about technique training, where Buakaw practice his hits, and the second one is about Buakaw’s fitness training. Having full responsibility upon Buakaw’s training is a major issue for Teerawat; he has to improve only what he believes needs improvement. He is asked whether he has modified or not Buakaw’s training, and he quickly responds that he has not made major changes, Buakaw’s training has been good throughout the years, and only minor glitches have been corrected.

At the end of the video, we are able to have a short insight onto what kind of a man Buakaw is, his trainer’s opinion is that Buakaw is just another regular guy outside the ring.
